Tundra rolled his eyes as the girl seemed to freak out at the idea of flying. Perhaps the idea of him flying wouldn't have seemed so good had he heard it before he took to the skies, but it was a bit too late. He then looked to Goku as he spoke.
"Someone named Kami, hmm...?" he began. "Okay, I suppose that is fine. As for the tour, perhaps that wouldn't be great right now. After all, this planet's inhabitants look drastically different from me and, should I be spotted, who knows what could happen?"
He then pondered on the idea of an 'offer' that Goku hinted at. In acknowledgement, he slightly nodded his head at Goku. He then followed after the Saiyan as closely as possible so as to not lose sight of him or anything of that nature. This had better be good... Tundra grumbled in his head.
((Sorry for late reply. School has been hell on me lately))

Gohan opted to leave the girl because she was so apprehensive. He looked around at the group, watching Tundra begin to lift off. He looked back at his dad before shooting up into the air after the creature that looked like Frieza.
"So...what brings you to Earth Tundra?"
((sorry about the shortness...))

Goku couldn't help but simply shrug and look over at Tundra, a grin forming on his face. "Yeah! He's the Guardian of Earth! I figure it might be best that I introduce him to you. Not to keep bringing this on you or anything but you being a member of Frieza's race might raise some heads around here, you know? Best to get you guys acquainted now, right?" Goku's smile faded to Tundra's refusal of a tour, "Aw, okay. Makes sense though. People here get really nervous very quickly. They might freak out, so yeah! Not the best idea I guess!" He scratched the back of his head and laughed.
Looking back at Gohan, he smiled and blinked a little, "How you holding up back there?" The absence of the girl had him shrug and blink once more. Perhaps she didn't want to go? Huh, oh well. Gohan's question did raise some curiosity. Why did Tundra come to this planet specifically? He looked to Tundra, going quiet to allow him to answer.

Tundra nodded at Goku. It only made sense to keep a safe distance from the inhabitants for now. After all, the last thing he wanted to do was cause a terrible stir on this planet. He then turned to face the young boy after he asked his question. Quite the inquisitive youngster.
"Well, if you must know, I came here to escape my past life," he began. "I used to serve under Frieza but I left and I thought I would find this planet. I'm not saying that I haven't nor won't, I'm merely saying that I haven't really been on this planet for that long. So, what is this 'Kami' person like? I've never heard of anyone with such a strange name. Same goes for your names...'Goku' and 'Gohan'. Were either of you named after figures in your planets history?"
Tundra was quite interested in their stories. Just how would they respond? He was sure that the young boy would have a more detailed answer than his father. Goku seemed the more fun-loving type while Gohan was a bit more logical.

"I'm named after my grandpa Gohan. I don't know where Dad got his name. I think it was just what Grandpa Gohan called him." Gohan was happy for the conversation, it eased his guilt over abandoning the girl like that as well as satisfied his need for intelligent conversation.
"Kami is the Guardian of the Earth, like my daddy said. He's a Namkian. He's very old and very wise." Gohan smiled as he flew looking at Tundra.
"You used to work for Frieza huh? What happened that sent you here?" Gohan pried. He was feeling overly curious today and the excitement of training really got his heart going. They were still a ways from Kami's Lookout and he hoped Tundra would tell him a story.

Goku smiled, allowing the wind to blow his hair back combined with the speed and velocity of his flight. He looked back over his shoulder briefly, not at all minding the force against his face. "Yep, I named Gohan after my grandpa. Grandpa Gohan picked me up when I landed here as a baby. He just named me Goku. I'm not sure if it has any special meaning to it, but y'know, I'm not complaining! Although I guess if you wanna get technical, my real name is Kakarot!" He laughed albeit a bit nervously, "...but only a couple specific people call me that. Thankfully."
He looked back ahead and kept his eyes on the stream of sky before him. They were getting close to Kami's lookout. He could feel it. "Gohan's right. Kami is a namekian. I'm not sure how old he is, but he is pretty old, even by Namekian standards! He came here a long time ago and took up the seat as guardian of the Earth. Only a couple earthlings know about him... like I said before these people are incredibly sensitive. Even just mentioning that the earth has a guardian from another planet would probably get you slapped!" He laughed again, only more heartily this time.

"Hmm...I see," Tundra muttered. When he heard the name 'Kakarot', he merely shrugged. "If you don't mind, I do believe I'd rather call you Goku. While I do believe you should have some pride in your Saiyan ancestry, your personality seems to fit your Earth-name better. Also, don't worry, I don't plan on speaking to many of this planet's inhabitants anyway."
He then glanced to the young boy that asked him about why he had abandoned Frieza in an attempt to gain a new life.
"If you must know, little youngster, Frieza killed my father," he grunted. "My father caught wind that Frieza planned to use me as one of his closer bodyguards once I had been toughened up a bit. Needless to say, my father disagreed and attempted to smuggle me away from our planet. Frieza caught up to us, kidnapped me and killed my father. I didn't find out until a few years later thanks to the Ginyu Force. They were drunk and were bragging about that very day. After that, I crushed my scouter and fled Frieza's army. They had no way to trace me and I don't believe that Frieza himself was that concerned about my absence. I was still weak when I fled."
Finally, a somewhat awkward silence ensued from Tundra. He wondered if he divulged too much...then again, it didn't matter to him. It was in the past, Frieza was dead, and these Earthlings seemed friendly enough...

Gohan listened to Tundra's story, saddened. He couldn't bear the thought of losing his own father, despite the fear that he had felt when he hadn't come back right away. There was a time when he feared that he would never see his father again. He shivered involuntarily at the memory and shook his head to clear it.
"I'm sorry to hear that Tundra...I don't know what I would do without my daddy. What is your home planet like?" Gohan looked at Goku and smiled waving, his insatiable curiosity overriding his sense of personal space.
"Are there more of you? Are you all fighters or are there different things you guys can do? What kind of things do you like to do for fun?" He rattled at the mouth, chattering aimlessly and not giving Tundra time between questions to answer in his excitement.

Goku listened as well while keeping his focus on the path ahead of him. They were passing over West City, and he paid a look down to the bustling city. His mind wandered as Tundra and Gohan spoke to one another, concern filling the pit of his gut over a couple of people, Vegeta being one of them. The possibility of the other Saiyan being down below in said metropolis concerned him, and while Vegeta proved that he had no true intention of destroying the place, Goku could only hope that Vegeta had more important issues on his mind, like training for the journey ahead of them. He broke into a small laugh, imagining the shorter being harassing the Briefs for a stronger gravity chamber.
Focusing back in on Tundra's words, Goku's smile faded and he turned, back facing the earth, and spine curled upward so that Goku could look at the both of them. "Wow, that is terrible. Well, you're free from him now, and Earth is a great place to rebuild," he smiled again, then blinked, and that smile faded once more into an expression of surprise, "Wow, the Ginyu Force? I remember those guys!" He then frowned, remembering Vegeta having killed them in the end, "...Well, you won't have to worry about them anymore, either. I didn't mean for them to die, but at least they won't be hurting anyone else anymore."
He turned back around, his atmosphere grunging up with the darkness of the reality behind it all. The quieting of his voice showed it, and Goku briefly slipped into a stasis of mild despair, "Well... I guess they didn't deserve any mercy for what they did. No more than Frieza."

Tundra slowly glanced back at the young Saiyan boy. He didn't know exactly what to say other than "My planet is very, very cold. It can be very beautiful in the mornings and at night as long as you stay away from the more 'civilized' portions of the planet."
He always preferred to live in the wilderness rather than in the city. It was quite boring to him to live in a place with so many unnatural structures. He then sighed as Gohan asked more questions.
"Yes, unfortunately," Tundra replied slowly. "Not all of us are fighters, but we all have the potential. As far as what we do for fun, 'fun' isn't actually a popular idea on my planet. So we aren't all that humorous, although some of us do have a dark sense of humor..."
He couldn't help but smirk as he thought of his own sense of humor. It was a bit dark and he especially enjoyed making jokes as he was beating someone down. He then turned to Goku.
"They deserved nothing more than a painful death," Tundra hissed. "I'm glad they are gone."
