Gohan looked from the girl to his dad to the thing called Tundra. He was less scared than he had been to start and he thought it would be a good idea to break the tension. He put his hand behind his head, awkwardly shuffling his feet.
"I'm Gohan." He laughed nervously. He planted his firmly, ready for a fight should the need arise, but he relaxed a little knowing his daddy would protect him if he had to. There was always the possibility that he might have to fight, but on Namek, he had proven he could fight...he knew he could.
"Who are you?" he asked the girl.

Goku gave Tundra a passing smile, not quite giving his name away just yet. Instead he turned his attention to the new girl. He was visibly impressed by her size, his face contorting into an excited grin, "Wow! Hi there!" He was even further impressed to hear that she could sense them and boy did he get excited. He clenched his hands into fists and shook them, his elbows locked at his sides and his knees bent. "You could sense us!? That's incredible! Where did you learn that from?"

Tundra couldn't help but feel somewhat frustrated that Goku didn't give him his name, but due to the circumstances, he let it go. A figure popped out of the bushes behind the father and son. It was a female, but definitely not a Saiyan. He frowned to himself and thumped his tail impatiently on the forest floor, biting his lower lip.
He then heard something that caught his interest.
"So, it's true," he started. "Warriors from slightly-less-developed planets are likely to be able to 'sense' other warriors. I must learn how to do this one day."
This would be a very helpful ability for him to have. The only thing that would make it difficult was his impatience. He wanted a quick and easy solution, none of this extra work that seemed tedious to him.

Feeling her spine go rigid, Akayla couldn't help but stare wide-eyed at the trio for a moment. It was too many things at once. Mostly though, she was still surprised about the strange, alien creature that seemed all too fascinated with the boy,his father and her ability to sense their presences. Not once in her life had she even considered that there was intelligent life on other planet's but this guy seemed like living breathing proof.
She had suddenly become so distracted by him--it--what ever it was she was seeing, that it took a few moments of silence and expectant stares to even remember that she had been asked a question. Quickly snapping her focus back to the raven-haired boy, she crossed her arms over her chest and settled into her hip, taking a more casual stance.
"My name's Akayla Kekoa." she said, "I'm not exactly sure how I did it, but I could feel you all here. Simple as that."

Gohan smiled and was happy that the confrontational edge had lifted from the conversation. He looked up at his dad, waiting for some kind of sign that something might be wrong. Seeing nothing, he shifted his weight and relaxed. He was a little unnerved by the girl's ability to innately sense power levels. It had taken him months of careful training and ki manipulation to learn how to do it. He could do it even better than his father now.
"Hey dad, maybe they can train with us?"

Goku nodded at Akayla, still smiling before looking at Gohan, "Of course! My son and I were about to go out and train until we sensed your power." He nodded to Tundra, "You both are welcome to come train with us!"
He gave a more serious look to Tundra, a smile that exuded excitement for fighting and a deep sense of confidence, "My name is Son Goku. This is my son Son Gohan. We live around here and were surprised to feel such an intense power. We would really like it if you came along with us to meet Kami, and our other friends, as well." He slowly began to lift up into the sky, "We'll find a place more spacious than this!" He looked down at the girl and blinked, his smile fading, "We would like it if you came along to, but... uh..." He blinked again.
"Can you fly, Akayla?"
[ooc: So sorry again guys. This week has been hell for me and I was going to post yesterday but I was so tired. I'm back in the game now and you have my attention again. ]

Tundra thought to himself for a moment or two. Training with someone named 'Kami', huh? Sounded slightly fishy to him. Still, he did want to build up his power as quickly as possible.
"It sounds good to me, Goku," Tundra replied. "As long as I can still live here in the mountains. That's the only thing that I require. Nice and quiet without this planet's inhabitants to bother me when I want to relax."
As he finished off his little request, he slowly began to float into the air. His tail was writhing and twisting as he waited for the other three to be ready to go off to wherever it was that they were heading.

Fly? Was he absolutely mad? Training with complete strangers, although not typically a smart idea, sounded appealing, but not if this Goku guy was totally off his nut. It was when the strange alien creature began to hover that she questioned her own sanity. Perhaps she had eaten something strange that was making her hallucinate.
"Fly?!" she exclaimed, staring wide-eyed at the floating alien, "Of course I can't fly! People don't fly!"

Gohan was surprised by the outburst coming from the girl. What did she mean people couldn't fly...Krillin could fly and he was a regular human. Even Gohan himself was a half human so by her logic he should only be able to jump very high in the air. He looked at her confused.
"Sure they can, I know lots of people who can fly. Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Me, my dad. But I guess my dad and I are Saiyans so that doesn't really count. If you can't fly I can carry you. I'm really strong."
Gohan flexed playfully, laughing. He was intrigued by Tundra but his dad seemed to be okay with him for now. He always trusted his dad's judgement, even if it seemed to be a bad idea sometimes. Gohan may be smart but his dad's intuition was always correct. He leaned over, stretching out his muscles. They still had a ways to go and if he was going to carry someone he might as well not hurt himself.

Goku smirked and nodded at Tundra, "That does sound good. Not too many aliens out there that want a peaceful place to stay, so it's refreshing to hear that! You're welcome to stay here in the mountains. Gohan and I live close by so you're always welcome to come visit!"
He then looked over at Akayla, almost as dumbfounded as she was at her words about flying. He blinked, seeming almost clueless to her denial, "Sure they can. If they just train hard and learn how to do it, anyone can fly." He scratched his head, looking down at her. Strange that she could sense energy but couldn't utilize it to fly. "Well we can teach you how," he said before looking to Gohan and smiling, "There you go! Gohan will take you with us. It'll be good training for him, too!" Gohan would be training and doing a good deed all at the same time! It was enough to make Goku giddy!
He then looked over at Tundra and gave him a brief nod. "We'll fly over to Kami's lookout. On the way I'll give you a brief tour of the planet. I also have an offer for you once we get there, should you be interested in taking it up." He began lifting off of the ground again and brushed past the canopy of the forest, waiting for the others to follow.
