The anticipation was a little too much to bear. He wanted to see who or what this creature was. He charged up his power again, but didn't remain hiding. He leaped up through the tree tops, floating in mid air. His eyes adjusted to the sudden light change. He had no idea that so much sunlight could have been blocked through mere branches and leaves. When he could finally see clearly, he spotted two figures hovering above the trees at about the same level as he was. His tail writhed a bit as he tried to focus in on their features. Wild black hair, stern expressions, powerful musculature, pitch black eyes...they seemed quite familiar. Not the people themselves, but they seemed like a familiar alien race he had either seen or battled with...he couldn't quite place it. He bit his inner lower lip as he tried to remember. He knew he had seen their kind before...but whe-- Wait! They couldn't possibly be...the Saiyans? But...they were wiped out...years ago! He couldn't help but smile slightly. His favorite race still had some remnants existing. Who would've thought? Still, he couldn't be totally sure. What if they only happened to look like Saiyans but in fact were not? He folded his arms across his chest. "You two over there, I have only one question for you," he began, then as bluntly as possible continued on with "Are you Saiyans or have you even heard of Saiyans?" He tried to not look like he wanted to cause any pain, but his appearance made such an attempt nigh impossible. ((This song is SOO playing when Tundra appears through the tree tops lol Click))

This whole trip had been impromptu from the beginning. Hitching rides with complete strangers from province to province, walking along the open roads and even sneaking into the beds of passing trucks without the drivers ever knowing she was there. It was tiring and exhilarating all at the same time. She hadn’t even had a reason for leaving home, but she did it anyways. With all of her belongings sold and only 500 Zeni left in her pocket, she did however realize that it was time to find someplace to settle and earn money before she set out again.
At the moment, she had taken the time to stretch out on the grass and rest her tired legs. Judging from the forests and the occasional sighting of exotic wildlife, she was sure that she was near the Mount Paozu area, famed for it’s monsters that lived in the thick forests. Surprisingly it had been pleasantly peaceful and quiet, until something caught her attention.
What a strange presence it was. Like nothing she had ever felt before. Bolting upright, icy shivers climbed up her spine. Whatever it was out there, it felt powerful and ominous. Curling her lips back into a fierce grin, she shouldered her knapsack and scrambled to her feet. Something told her that checking it out was a bad idea, but morbid curiosity pulled her towards the mysterious presence.

"Fff.ffff.ffffff....FRIEZA!" Gohan shouted, pointing at the hovering figure. He was scared beyond any fear he had ever felt before. What if the stories were true and he really was unable to be defeated? That meant everyone who had died, every Namekian and every person he knew and cared about had died in vain and were now in grave danger again.
It struck him as odd that Frieza did not look like he wanted to fight, but Gohan didn't trust him, he couldn't. He swallowed hard and attempted to stop shaking. Slowly he clenched his fists and planted his feet firmly on the ground, allowing his powerlevel to spike exponentially.
"How are you still alive? My daddy told me he killed you!"

Goku found himself shocked and stiffened at the sight of this stranger. Even as Gohan threw his freak out the window, Goku narrowed his eyes and tensed, studying this creature before them. Yes, he looked like Frieza. But it was different. It was very different. He was also questioning them being Saiyans. If it was Frieza, he wouldn't question. He'd attack. Goku flinched to Gohan's screaming and he looked down at the boy before shouting for him to stop, "Gohan!"
He looked up at the man once again, still tense. This creature could still be just as evil as Frieza was. "I'm sorry for my son's outburst, but if you know who we're talking about then you should understand." Goku didn't relax, only studied the creature for what he was. He was different. Very different, but still very much the same creature. He could be a relative or a distant ally come to avenge his fallen brother.
"Yes, we are Saiyans. And you look like someone we just fought against in order to protect the Universe. I would appreciate it if you stated your business, here," Goku said.
His ear twitched. Something else was here in the forest. It was on the ground, that much was certain. He didn't sense any power, but that was no reason to relax. He looked around before laughing at the stranger, "But first maybe we should lower to the ground! We might catch some unwanted attention up here!" He smiled big and scratched the back of his head.

Tundra growled under his breath, clearly frustrated upon being mistake for Frieza. Normally, he would resort to violence, but something the little one said caught his attention.
"Killed? You mean..."
He was clearly shocked, but there was a hint of exhilaration in his eyes. A smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. He glanced over to the older man next to the boy. The way he tried to calm down the young one led Tundra to believe that the older one was his father.
"I am very aware of who Frieza is," Tundra began, then after the elder man finished speaking, he continued. "Yes, that is an unfortunate trait of my race. But you...you are Saiyans...and you--" he added, pointing to the older one. "You are the one who killed him? If this is true, then you have my sincerest gratitude."
He then looked around after Goku mentioned the need to take to lower ground. At that point, Tundra quickly complied and lowered himself back to the clearing he had been standing in earlier. He folded his arms across his chest as he waited for the other two. Once they finally landed, he continued speaking.
"I can't help but find Frieza's death to be a perfect example of poetic justice," he chuckled. "He wiped out most your race in an attempt to prevent one from killing him, then what happens? Due to his carelessness, you manage to kill him. His attempt was a failure...a sweet, sweet failure."

Ferns and other indigenous plants of the like grew to incredible sizes around here. Akayla found it difficult to climb through the thick brush. It was nothing like the small, thinning forests back at home. Being as determined and hard-headed as she was, she would do anything to satisfy her curiosity about the strange presence. Traveling closer to it, she began to realize that it wasn’t just one. There were three distinct ones that she could pick out now.
“Good lord.” she mumbled, batting aside a large, overhanging palm frond. “Who on earth would even be all the way out here?” Soon she could hear voices. All three male voices too, which for some reason, didn’t surprise her. Crouching low in the underbrush she crept towards the source of the voices and gasped in surprise.
Standing naught but thirty feet away was the most bizarre creature she had ever seen. It was standing upright, talking to two dark haired figures. One was a child with wild, black hair. The other--presumably his father even-- was a broad muscular man with raven hair and intense onyx-colored eyes. Hopefully they hadn’t heard her, but she was ready to run if they had.

Gohan detected a powerlevel in the trees nearby. He looked at the spot where he had felt it, but saw nothing at the moment. Quickly his gaze went from his father to the forest to the Frieza look alike and back to his father. He shifted uncomfortably, the hair on the back of his neck prickling. He barely registered what the copy cat said about poems or something like that. Gohan thought it would be weird if that's what he was talking about and assumed he had misheard.
Finally the presence in the trees bothered him enough to speak.
"Dad I think there's somebody watching us. I sensed another powerlevel close by but I can't see them." A small bolt of fear rippled through Gohan's body but he bit the inside of his cheek to quell it. He needed to be strong right now.

Goku was relieved when both he and the Changeling lowered to the ground. He was at least humble enough to comply with his wishes, so he couldn't be that bad, right? Goku's face creased with seriousness, "So you're part of the same race." He was piecing things together, but the way this man carried on was different from Frieza's mannerisms. It surely wasn't something Goku was expecting, but the man wasn't spouting on about being the most powerful or the only one worthy to conquer the universe, so he couldn't be that bad, right? Goku winced a little at the notion that he killed Frieza. Goku never meant to kill anyone, and while it was a good thing that Frieza was gone for good, he still didn't like that he had to take the overlord's life.
"I gave him one more chance at life and he blew it. I really had no other choice. If he wasn't going to change, then I couldn't just let him go just so he could hurt and kill more innocent people," Goku's face became pouty, "Besides, he attacked me when my back was turned after I gave him some of my energy."
His expression changed however, turning into a smile, "You sound like someone who knows right from wrong. What's your name?"
When Gohan spoke, he glanced back at the boy, blinking in surprise. He hadn't sensed anything at all. He looked towards the brush, in the same direction Gohan looked, and narrowed his eyes. He relaxed. But he still couldn't sense much. "Whoever you are, you can come out. We know you're there. We're not going to hurt you, promise!"

Tundra frowned slightly.
"Forgive my bluntness, but I feel that a monster like he didn't deserve a chance," he replied, keeping his tone calm, cool and collected. "But I suppose that is your warrior pride, isn't it? Giving your enemy a chance before you annihilate him? How unlike traditional Saiyans. I must say, that's quite refreshing."
He blinked as Goku asked him his name. "Oh of course, how rude of me. My name is Tundra. And you two are...?"
He then glanced at the boy as he spoke. A scowl was evident on his face as he scanned the area with his red eyes. Someone was eavesdropping, how nice. He wondered if this could be a person looking for a fight. In all honesty, he could go for a fight right about now. Peace and quiet is nice for a while, but every once in a while, he needs some sort of turmoil to spice up his day.

Akayla sat rooted to her spot, listening intently to their conversation. She hadn't meant to really, but they had mentioned someone being killed. Any person with a morbid curiosity as strong as hers couldn't help but listen in, trying to figure out what on earth they were talking about. It wasn't until the young boy seemed to notice her that she began to worry. Wasn't she well hidden enough?
Turning and running seemed like the best option, until the older man spoke. They knew she was there. They probably sensed her just as she had sensed them. Rising to her feet, she gave the trio a defiant look. Sure he had said that they would not hurt her, but people said all kinds of things that they never meant.
"Forgive me for listening in on your conversation, but I couldn't help but noticing such strong entities out here in the middle of nowhere."
