Chikori didn't like what she was hearing. Not at all and it showed on her face in a small frown. She continued walking as Frankincense spoke of men that captured her, a man with jewelry and another with a mustache. Her eyes narrowed further, slender brows furrowing in the middle of her forehead. Frankincense at least was alright in the end. She wasn't severely hurt or further traumatized by the event. Whatever it is that happened certainly didn't seem to affect her past mentioning it in passing. Chikori's frown eased as she looked over to the younger Saiyan, arms lightly swaying back and forth as she walked.
Her given mission however, was startling, "The Prince...?" She looked back ahead of her, turning one final corner before they reached a small set of hubs. She stopped in front of one and opened the door, stepping back and letting Frankincense go in first, "...The Prince is dead, is he not? Why would this man want you to go find him?" she asked.

Frankincense darted inside. It was unchanged. Even her old bed was still here, looking freshly made and ready to be jumped on. She whisked around the room, making sure everything was in place. After her third run around the living room she paused, remembering that Chikori had asked her something. Prince Vegeta dead? That was just silly.
"I don't think so...Last I heard he was out doing work for Lord Frieza." The smallest of worried looks passed across her face. She still hadn't reported to him...she was going to be in so much trouble. It took a minute for her to realize that she did not have her scouter anymore...if she had lost it again, Lord Frieza would be furious. Panic won out and she ran into her room and began tearing it apart, flinging things left and right looking for her scouter.
Unable to find it, she ran back into the living room and nearly bowled Chikori over. The near collision seemed to calm her some what as she realized she was being silly. She just had to think that's all.
"Where did I put it..." Frankincense chewed on her thumb absently, trying to remember where she had left it.

Chikori stepped inside the small hub that was her little apartment. The stale cermet was familiar, but Chikori didn't necessarily feel at home. She sighed softly and went immediately to the sink in the small kitchen. She turned it on as Frankincense went about her business, idly hearing her words of Prince Vegeta working for Frieza. She didn't want to think about it. So many things didn't make sense.
The cool water came trickling down from the weary pipes. She cupped her hands in the sink bowl and allowed the water to gather before she splashed her face with it.
Precious water...
When Chikori noticed Frankincense scurrying about looking for something, the woman rose from the sink and reentered the main living space. "What's wrong, Frankincense? What has you so riled up?" she asked, watching her.

Frankincense turned over her pillows for the 9th time before flopping on her bed and giving up. She loosened the scarf around her neck and folded it gently, laying it beside her head. She sighed deeply and realized just how tired she actually was. Frankincense sat up on the bed and looked at her mother, smiling.
"Nothing. I'll find my scouter soon. I don't want to have to ask Lord Frieza for another one."

Chikori only stared at Frankincense with a concerned look on her face, eyes half-lidded and lips slightly parted. She opened her mouth further to say something, to mention that Frieza was, apparently, no longer among them or so she's heard. But she slowly closed her mouth, refraining from bringing the news to the young saiyan and upsetting her. She knew better than to make Frankincense sad. She sighed softly instead and nodded to the young saiyan before walking in and grabbing the old blanket at the foot of her bed.
"Don't worry about your scouter. If I find it, I'll put it on your dresser for you to find when you wake up," she said quietly, "But for now, sleep, Frankincense... We've all had a long day, and an even longer morning ahead of us tomorrow. Sleep well." She turned away after draping the blanket over the young Saiyan, making sure to keep it at her shoulders and not covering her head. She moved out of the girl's room and gently shut the door behind her.
